Whole Roast Chicken Recipe – How To Make Baked Chicken With Garlic And Mustard – Quick and Easy
Here is another one of my favorite roasted chicken recipes, mustard, garlic & curry powder roasted chicken. I like my simple roasted chicken. I roast chickens pretty often just for the heck of golden appearance and savory aroma.
1 (3 pound) whole chicken, giblets removed
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 teaspoon sweet red pepper powder
1 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
2 tablespoons dijon mustard
4-5 garlic cloves, minced
1 onion, cut
In a medium bowl, combine the vegetable oil with dijon mustard, curry powder, sweet red pepper powder, salt, and garlic minced.
Place chicken in a roasting pan, and season generously inside and out with mustard mixture. Stuff the chicken with onion. Sprinkle out with black pepper. Add parsley, dill.
Bake in a preheated oven to 350 F/180 C for 60-90 minutes, until the chicken is cooked.
Expand foil. Pour sauce over the chicken. Return to oven and cook for another 10-15 minutes or until golden. Lightly tent with foil if chicken is browning too quickly.
